ConvertHop is a small collection of free browser-based tools for converting formats, compressing files, resizing dimensions, meeting file-size limits, converting HEIC photos, and combining images into a PDF.

Why ConvertHop exists

A routine file task should not require an account, a software installation, or an unclear upload workflow. Controls stay close to the result, and each page explains meaningful format limitations so people can choose settings with context.

How files are handled

The live tools decode and create files in the browser. ConvertHop does not operate a conversion API and does not receive image contents, filenames, previews, or generated PDFs. The hosting provider can still receive ordinary web request logs. The privacy policy explains that distinction.

Who maintains ConvertHop?

The project is maintained under the ConvertHop name. Product questions, bug reports and content corrections reach the maintainer through contact@converthop.com. This is an independent image-tool project, not a service operated by Apple, Google or a file-format standards body.

How to read our examples

Our image guides are published under the ConvertHop brand. Worked examples explain a particular decision: which format to choose, how a crop changes geometry, or how a byte limit differs from a pixel requirement. Illustrative sizes are labelled as examples rather than advertised performance results. Actual compression depends on the source and browser.

Corrections and limitations

If a result differs from an explanation, report the page, settings and visible error through Contact without attaching sensitive files. Guides show their review date, but another website’s upload rules can change independently. Keep original files and verify important downloads; these tools do not certify archival, accessibility or professional printing compliance.

What we promise

Only implemented tools appear in the public directory. There is no account requirement or watermark. Feedback and compatibility reports are welcome through the real address on the Contact page.
