Choose a tool by the problem
File format, pixel dimensions and stored bytes are different constraints. These categories help you change the right one.
Control file size
Choose the compressor when dimensions are correct and you want to compare quality. Choose the target-size tool when a form imposes a byte limit; it may also reduce dimensions, so inspect both requirements.
Change dimensions
Use pixels, a percentage or a preset to change the canvas. Fit preserves all content with possible padding, Fill crops to cover it, and Stretch changes proportions. A smaller pixel grid does not imply a fixed byte size.
Create an image document
Arrange JPG, PNG or WebP images as one PDF page per image. Set page size and margins for a readable document. This does not extract text, merge existing PDFs or create a searchable OCR layer.

A JPG-only application form
Convert a phone HEIC photo with HEIC to JPG. If the form also limits bytes, use Reduce Image Size afterward. Check that any smaller result still meets the form’s minimum dimensions.
A 1600 × 900 thumbnail
A 4000 × 3000 photo has the wrong shape. In Image Resizer, Fit keeps the photo with side padding; Fill covers the thumbnail by cropping top and bottom. Inspect faces and text before using the result.
Receipts in one document
Arrange images in Images to PDF, choose a page size and use Fit to avoid cutting off totals. Each receipt gets its own page. This does not run OCR or make the receipt text searchable.

Yes. The live tools are free to use, with no signup and no watermark.
Do you upload my photos?
The live image tools run on your device. They do not upload your image contents to us.
What happens when I close the page?
Selected and converted data in the page is released when you clear the queue or leave. Files you already downloaded stay on your device; the website cannot remove them.
Which tool should I choose for a rejected upload?
Read the error first. Wrong format needs conversion; wrong width or height needs resizing; a byte limit needs compression or a target-size export. The tool directory explains the differences.
Can a smaller file lose useful detail?
Yes. Lossy encoding or fewer pixels can remove detail, especially text and faces. Keep the original and inspect the download. See the size-reduction checklist.
Does the site work entirely offline?
Processing is local, but the page and some decoder or PDF code must load first. Do not rely on a new session working without a connection. See what local processing does and does not mean.
